Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Mood Calendar (“the app”) is an independent app. This policy explains what information the app handles. In short: the app has no accounts and no ads, and your moods and notes stay on your device.
1. Data stored on your device
Your mood entries (date, mood and optional note), your reminder settings and your preferences are stored only on your device. We do not have a server and we cannot read them. Deleting the app deletes this data. If you use “Export history” in Settings, the app creates a JSON file and opens the system share sheet; where it goes is your choice.
2. Information collected automatically
The app uses the following services. None of them receives your mood entries or your notes.
- Firebase Analytics (Google) – anonymous usage measurement: number of active installations, sessions, app and operating system version, approximate country, and a short fixed list of events (for example, that a mood was saved, that the store was opened, or the result of a purchase). Events never include which mood you picked, your note, the date of the entry or the intensity. The app does not use the advertising identifier, does not link analytics to advertising services and does not ask for tracking permission. You can turn this off in Settings → Share anonymous usage data.
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google) – crash and error reports, which include device model, operating system version, app version and technical diagnostics, tied to an anonymous installation identifier. They do not include your entries.
- RevenueCat – manages in-app purchases of premium moods. It receives an anonymous app user identifier and your purchase history for this app. Payments are processed by Apple or Google; we never see your payment details.
3. What we do not do
- We do not require an account, name or email.
- We do not show ads or sell data.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
4. Retention
Analytics and crash data are kept by Google according to its retention settings for the project and are not linked to your identity. Purchase records are kept by RevenueCat, Apple and Google as needed to restore your purchases.
5. Notifications
The daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. It does not use a push server.
6. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
7. Your choices and rights
You can turn off anonymous usage data in Settings, turn off notifications in your system settings, export your entries, and delete everything by uninstalling the app. Because the data we receive is anonymous, we usually cannot link it to you; if you have questions or requests about your data, write to us.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and publish the new version here.
